How to replace sunsetter awning fabric. Insert new awning fabric into channels you marked. Be sure that the hem of the fabric is facing down. Get out your new awning fabric and position it over the front of the roller tube. Locate the replacement valances and trim the gray cord to a length of inch on each end.
Slide the fabric onto the roller bar and awning rail at the same time until approximately 6 is still extending out of the roller bar on the left side. Repeat for the other side of the awning. Also make sure that the valance is in the channel you marked with a v. Tuck the ends of the fabric into the channels that you marked and ensure that it is centered.
For awnings that have a sunsetter aluminum hood installed remove the hood end plate on the opposite side of the motor or gear assembly. Using the manual crank wand continue to unroll the fabric until you expose the fabric slot in the roller bar. Hold the front bar and loosen the left front bar insert with a 5mm allen wrench and pull the insert out of the front bar. Open the awning and allow the fabric to completely unroll.
While keeping the fabric reasonably stretched on the roller bar turn the crank wand counter clockwise to slowly roll the fabric onto the roller bar.
