A pressure washer can quickly ruin vinyl siding by cracking it with the high pressure stream of water so it s necessary to know which pressure level and nozzle to use.

If using a soft cloth wet the cloth then wipe the area in a side to side motion in the direction of the plank shingle or panel siding until clean. Create a gentle cleansing solution made of mild dishwashing soap and water. Using the high pressure spray nozzle attempt to remove as much dirt dust and grime as possible before cleaning with soap and water. Use a side to side motion when cleaning horizontal planks.

Starting low and gently working your way up is the safest bet. Be sure to completely rinse it free of any soap residue. Start from the top and clean with the direction of the siding.
