How To Parallel Wire Solar Panels
To wire two or more solar panels and batteries in parallel simply connect the positive terminal of solar panel or battery to the positive terminal of solar panel or battery and vise versa respectively as shown in the fig below.
How to parallel wire solar panels. In our demo we have an mc4 compatible locking connector. Parallel connection of two identical solar panels. As clearly visible in the picture it will be enough to wire the positive pole of one panel to the positive pole of the other one and then wire the negative pole of one panel to the negative pole of the other one. In simple words similar terminals are connected by jumper wires.
The positive wires are connected to a positive connector within a combiner box and the negative wires are connected to the negative connector. A solar panel or battery can be connected in parallel by connecting the negative terminal of first one to the negative terminal of second one and positive terminal of second one to the positive terminal of first one. If we have two solar panels with same voltage and power the connection will be very simple. The first thing to do is figure out what kind of connectors you ve got on your solar panel.
